Morocco's Western Sahara, 2019
We traveled to Morocco's Western Sahara region in April and May of 2019, flying to Marrakech and then to Dakhla where the Sahara Desert meets the Atlantic Ocean. With a persistent and dependable wind from the north, this part of the Sahara is somewhat cool during the day and cold at night. At sunset, the desert cools and comes alive with rodents feeding on vegetation. Foxes and cats come out to feed on the rodents. For more details, read our blog post at:
